• Device ID: A unique device identifier is used for rate limiting and usage tracking. This is not linked to your personal identity.
• Usage Data: We track anonymous usage metrics such as generation count, platform preferences, and feature usage to improve the app.
• Optional Profile: Gender and age range, if provided, are used solely to personalize caption generation.

• Generate AI-powered captions based on your photos
• Enforce daily usage limits and prevent abuse
• Improve caption quality and app experience
• Process in-app purchases via Apple/Google

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google AI (Gemini): For image analysis and caption generation
• Supabase: For serverless functions and usage tracking
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• Google AdMob: For displaying ads to free users

4. Data Storage

Caption history and preferences are stored locally on your device. Server-side, we only store anonymous usage counters (device ID + daily generation count). Photos are never stored on our servers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to provide the service (e.g., sending images to AI for processing).

6. Children's Privacy

CapnAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
